My Heart is Happy

I love love love this little Valentine Tilda! She made me smile from the moment I first opened her package. Coloring her, though--well, I'm awfully glad I watched the tutorial on the Magnolia-licious site--the one of coloring the red raincoat. It made this much easier since I knew which reds to use and how to use them. Finding papers to use with her, though, were a bit more of a challenge, as 'shabby chic' really isn't something I do very often, and yet that seemed to be what she was asking for.

But here she is, ready to be sent off for Valentine's Day, if I can bear to part with her! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Supply list: Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); DP--K&Company Classic K McKenna; Crystal Stickers Pearls; 5/8" Antique White ribbon (Offray); Nestabilities Large Ovals (Spellbinders); Valentine sentiment by Studio G; Copic markers as shown below.

This is a beautiful card. I love the subtle elegance of it. The subdued papers make sweet Tilda the main focus, and everything works beautifully! Great job! Thank you for sharing and for telluing us what you used - so helpful to a newcomer.
